今回紹介する展覧会は、ニューヨークのSteven Kasher Galleryで開催中の『Wendy Ewald: Works, Projects, Collaborations 1975-1996』。米女性写真家のウェンディ・エワルドは、子どもたちを被写体としてフォーカスし世界中を旅したことで知られている。エワルドの大回顧展となる同展では、20年間かけてコロンビアやオランダ、インド、メキシコ、モロッコ、南アフリカ、アメリカ各地で彼女がドキュメントしてきた「童の姿」を鑑賞しよう。
